Our Story
In December 2006, Betsy Gauthier was on the Internet looking for holiday gifts for family, friends, and her husband’s business associates. She was surprised to discover how hard it was to find a store that specialized in fine chocolate. She immediately saw a need for a shop where chocolate aficionados could easily order hand-made chocolates online.

At the same time, her daughter Amie Gauthier was in the process of making a major career change from a position in marketing. Mother and daughter decided to blend their skills and start a gourmet chocolate business. This duo spent months tasting chocolate until they assembled the perfect assortment of quality items. The result: Loco for Coco.
